I love boudoir photography. I shoot many session during the year with ladies of all ages. Most of them have no modeling experience but want to celebrate who they have become as women and individuals, for whatever reason. Either to make a one of a kind present to their significant other or to just spoil themselves with a great experience and some stunning images to celebrate this stage of their life. I do have a separate website with an extensive boudoir portfolio. Go check it out and let me know what do you think. www.boldaslove.info
This was one of a kind shoot for many reasons. First the model, Sarah. She is a burlesque performer of great talent with a set of stage costumes that is just incredible. Then the location. A mid century gem located in a quaint neighborhood in Tulsa Oklahoma. Then the great ladies at Retro Den, a local vintage furniture store, did the impossible at staging this house, recreating a set that looks like came straight out of Mad Men. The result is something out of a time capsule.
While this again is not my usual boudoir photography shoot it is very representative of a trend growing more and more common amongst my clients. The idea is to to push the boundaries of creativity and transforms a traditional boudoir session in a custom made experience. Tell me your idea and let’s create something unique together.
