Amber & Joe
Amber is half italian and so she’s kinda special to me. Joe is a big guy that just recently completed his service in the Army. He’s got some stories to tell you. Ask him about how they met, for example.
Anyway, the had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Longview Mansion, right here in Lees Summit. The mansion has quite a story too and everything speaks about it. Check out that mirror! The old style faucet touned out quite handy for the ring shot.

I was really digging that couch. The light was just perfect and Amber so gracious to let me play for “just 5 more minutes”… you know how it goes when you are having fun.
It rained! Just for few minutes, but enough to have to move the ceremony inside, can you believe it? Funny thing is that I was able to take this shot, which is one of my favorites, and that just because we were inside rather than outside. You never know…
