We shot Cynthia and Scott’s wedding in Joplin at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. What an awesome location! It was freezing cold but since the ceremony and reception were in the same venue it was cool not to have to drive around on icy roads.Big windows and natural light. There is nothing better to light a romantic shot like these. These two guys were so sweet with each other that it made us feel all warm and fuzzy, I swear. Jan did a great job in post-production by adding those creamy, warm tones. When we see a red carpet like that we have to play. Specially if we are shooting a gorgeous bride with beautiful bridesmaids in red satin. A glam set up with a bit of attitude. The ball room was just like you wish it would be. Tall ceilings, rich decor and romantic lighting. We used some additional lighting for the dance shot that would work in conjunction with the room lights to create a movie-like feeling. Check out Cynthia & Scott’s slideshow
