We are going to shoot Meghan and Brad’s wedding later in July. In the mean time we had some fun on a rooftop downtown Kansas City, then a cute park and then a spooky, graffiti rich, abandoned place.

I know, I know, enough with the snow, we want spring now. But this is such a cute couple and this was the last snow we had, promise. Anyway, Josh is a video wiz and a picky client (we like them just like that) but also in love with the media, so he didn’t budge at all when I asked them to go out in the snow. We shot his sister’s wedding some 5 years ago and now is his turn, with the beautiful Amy. We will shot their wedding in May, cannot wait.

We started with some studio shots, just to get these two love birds warmed up.

We shot this engagement session with Tiffany and Mike in Lawrence because this is where they will have their wedding ceremony and reception. This is the lake where he actually proposed to her. So a stop was due and we ended up getting them a little wet.

Love the gloomy sky that Jan was able to achieve in Lightroom as well as the overall tone in this image. Definitely a great shot.

We shot Janelle and Kundai engagement session at Unity Village. We lucked out and got the warmest November day and the very last tree with leafs still on!! Woohoo to that.

Stephanie and Marc met at a wedding, she was one of the bride’s maids and he was a groom’s man… They are such a sweet couple, really fun to hang out with and on top of it both quite a looker.

Does it sound too good to be true? But it is, pictures don’t lie.

We took them to the River Market for their love session. I guess I like so much this area because reminds me a bit of my old country, where people walk to buy the paper, there are no SUV around and you can actually have a good coffee.

Well, that would be me trying not to loose gears from my bag while I’m running.

Gina and Jeff know each other since they were little. They even leaved in the same neighborhood and they used to play right at the corner of 11th and Oak Street, right here in Lees Summit. So we went back there and played again, like we where all still kids.

How about a stroll in the park? Sure Gina.

To top it off, we ended a long, hot summer day with the best of the backyard games: sprinkler jumping! I know, slip’n’slide would have been better. Maybe next time.

Love at the Power & Light District

What a fun time I had with Elizabeth and Brad who were in town from Arlington, Virginia.Their April wedding will be at Our Lady of Sorrows (right by Hallmark Cards)and the reception will be at the Boulevard Brewery … can’t wait!! We walked around the Power and Light District in downtown Kansas City and found some cool spots to shoot. The Sprint Center really sets the scene in this one. What a truly unique couple … they are perfect together!!

We shot Summer and Steve on the Plaza on a typical Missouri spring day: unpredictable! It was cold, then warm and sunny, then gloomy and windy. Go figure. No time for a latte! Just few quick shots and then we are out again. We will be shooting their wedding at the end of April, I’m sure the weather will be more stable by then. The reception will be at the Kemper Contemporary Museum of Art, which is another icon of Kansas City. Really exciting. I love shooting on the Plaza, it’s such a mixture of modern and classic.
